Winemaker’s Comments: Lots of berry on the nose with spice (cinnamon) and light mint. Flavors of berry and plum commingle with chocolately tannins, cinnamon and hints of mint on the palate. This Zinfandel was barrel aged for six months in 60% French and 40% American oak (30% new). With strong aging potential, this wine could be saved for enjoyment many years from now.
