 We sure like talking with friends.
Being a Texan calls to mind the strong, silent type, but that’s only in the movies. Most Texans are great talkers.
When I was growing up in Texas if folks were out and about and didn’t see anyone they knew they would stop the first person they could and start up a conversation with them.
This behavior came from being brought up in wide open spaces that were sparsely settled.
People were so hungry for conversation that they would even chat up their worst enemy.
I guess all of this is my way of saying
“how the heck are ya?”
