Grandpa & Lady 1985

My Grandpa, Alf Johnson (born 1909) astride a horse drawn on a board by my Grandma (Thelma Johnson).  The horse was drawn to be a part of the church Christmas float (& won 2nd place)!

Grandpa  (Alf Johnson age 76) & my trusted mare Lady (age 20+).
 
(Note:  My Grandpa is responsible for my love for stories like Daniel Boone, Davy Crockett.  My heros growing up were John Wayne, Jimmy Stewart, Fess Parker, & Grandpa. 
He taught me that guys who do the right thing, even when it's not always popular are real heros.  So I thank Mr. Parker for providing so many hours of good clean family entertainment & always showing himself to the fans to be the nice guy!)
