In May of 1995 we were able to take advantage of a unique and exciting opportunity with the purchase of an 80-acre parcel of fabled Sierra Madre Vineyard located in the Santa Maria Valley. Renamed after Fess' wife, this vineyard produces superb cool climate Chardonnay and Pinot Noir due to a strong maritime influence and sandy, well-drained soils.
