I want to share my story with you. When I was in grade school I went to a very strict catholic private school that was run by nuns. We had a strict uniform policy, but I insisted on wearing my Daniel Boone hat and vest to school and I would not let the nuns take them away from me.

Another part of my story is the day I got to meet Fess Parker. I was on my way home from work and decided to stop at the liquor store. As I walked toward the back of the store, there was Mr. Parker standing next to a display of his new wine. This was back around 1993 or 1994 . I could not believe it was really him. He was very nice to me and let me tell him about my grade school story. I puchased a bottle of his wine and he signed it for me. He invited me to go see him at his Inn in California.

I still plan on going there. I wish I could have made the trip while he was still alive.
